401(k) Match

Everyone, regardless of years of experience, will be offered a "Safe Harbor" match.

• As part of this match, there will be NO required vesting schedule – in others words, you gain immediate ownership and are vested in all safe harbor money as you contribute.

• In order to receive a match, you must participate in the plan.

We will also provide a “Discretionary Match” opportunity based upon both employee contribution levels and years of service.

• For staff that have participated in the plan for less than five years … the total match opportunity is up to 5% (safe harbor plus discretionary).

• For staff that have participated in the plan for five years or longer … the total match opportunity is up to 11% (safe harbor plus discretionary).

• This discretionary match has a “three-year cliff” vesting schedule.  This means that you gain ownership of the Credit Union’s discretionary matching funds after three years of plan participation and 1000 hours worked each plan year.  See the below chart to better understand the Safe Harbor Match Plus Discretionary Profit Sharing Program.
